Drink, drink, drink, brother, drink!

Who: Millennium and YOU
What: The Major's bachelor party, everyone is welcomed.
When: February 24th, evening to early morning
Where:  beer hall in Central
Warnings: Lots of drinking, a bit of violence perhaps

With the wedding coming in only about just a week, the Major now only had just a few days left of being a single man. He didn't care much one way or another about the marriage, but it was always a clear excuse to have a little bit of fun. He invited his men over to one of the beer halls in Central. Any bar would do and more than likely, they planned to alternate among locations once the establishment could no longer accommodate the sort of fun the Major had planned for.

There was nobody in the beer hall beyond Amestrian soldiers, all members of the Millennium faction. Still in uniform, some not, they were all invited over to the Major's party where they drank, yelled, and laughed to their hearts content. The waitresses were already having trouble with the near constant demands of all the soldiers. They liked to eat as much as they enjoyed warring, after all.

As they cackled, the Major stood up from his seat and pulled himself up on a table. He put his fingers to his mouth and gave a loud whistle. The men, at once, cease and look up at their commanding officer. The light from the chandelier's candles reflect off of his glasses. He extends his arms out.

"My friends, I must say that I am quite pleased to see all of you here with me. In about a week, I will no longer be just a man, but a husband as well. Under the orders of our Fuhrer, a woman of the Crystal King will soon be brought to me under my care. And indeed, as much as it pains me, nights like these together with all of you will be a thing of past. Nothing more than another memory to remind us of our better days in this mundane world a little distant that which is made up of iron and flames. There have also been concerns whether this would affect my duties to all of you.

I will make this promise to you: beyond a man, beyond a husband, beyond anything else, what I am is a soldier. A marriage these days, you see, is an oath. An obligation. A lifelong commitment between interests. If we are talking about oaths, obligations, and commitments, then for a soldier, the matter of war would always be prioritized over a woman!

I love war. The love I bear is far deeper than anything a human can feel for one another. It is the one thing, the only thing, that a soldier could ever desire! So then, I will not be leaving you as your commanding officer. I am here to stay just as long as you would have me!"

As he stretched out his arms, his men gave him an applause. The Major gives keeps his arms uplifted as if basking in his men's adulation. Stepping down from the table now, the Major beams at his men and yells,

"Bah! None of you came to hear me speak! Go on, then, my friends, eat and drink, drink to your heart's content and until the beer overflows through your blood!"

Now, walking around the beer hall with a mug in his hand, the Major swings it around as he sings at the top of his lungs:

"Trink, trink, Brüderlein trink,
Lass doch die Sorgen zu Haus
Trink, trink, Brüderlein trink,
Laß doch die Sorgen zu Haus!
Meide den Kummer und meide den Schmerz,
Dann ist das Leben ein Scherz!
Meide den Kummer und meide den Schmerz,
Dann ist das Leben ein Scherz!"

She hesitated. "I don't have long here but I suppose I can spare a brief minute, if only only to find out where you heard that my nickname. It's not exactly common knowledge in the empire."
