Pre-match

Sonic yanked on a hand wrap, pounding his fist against it. Well, this was it. Showtime. He could hear the holding-pattern howl of the crowd outside--there were even more than he figured there'd be! Not that he was nervous, no, of course not. Why would he be nervous?

...Well okay, maybe a little bit. After being thrown around like a pest critter for just walking into a store, now he has to prove to all those humans out there what he, what Luna's call are made of--

No, no... focus. The fight is all that matters. He takes a breath, quills settling, and paces around the stable waiting for his prompt... but who should he find there?

Match, round 1

The crowd roared the moment the doors opened. Sonic exploded through them with a burst of speed, leaving a rut on the dust-built coliseum floor, and slid to a halt in the very center of the arena. An elaborate vault into the air and a series of flips lands him on his feet artfully. The crowd roared and his he blinked--Hey, they're actually cheering! He'd figured they'd quiet immediately! Start throwing things! Something like that... He blinked and flashed a grin.

"Ladiiiiiies and gentlemen! It's my pleasure to fight for you here today!"

The crowd reignites in applause for that. Jeez. What a ham.

His last opponent was interesting, since they both served the Church, but Alucard knew that warrior was something more than human. However, he kept quiet about it, not wanting to reveal his secrets since it's courtesy not to reveal his own.

He went outside, hiding his annoyance in dealing with the sunlight. The sun can be exceptionally bright in spring, which bothered him and he disliked it.

The blast of the crowd met his ears, but they weren't for him. It's for the underdog. Alucard look at his opponent quizzically, because it was a beastman. A very young one at that.

"Hey there kid." The vampire said with a smirk.

Sonic's ears perked and he looked up. The man LOOKED human, although every other part of him told an entirely different story. No human can be that present, that full of personal attention-sucking gravity anywhere. They just... aren't capable of it. The man hadn't even MOVED yet and he could tell that this was going to be one heckuva challenge. He puts on a smirk and steps into a bow, palms together, eyes locked on his.

"You're Alucard, right?"

And a hella challenge it would be. The beastman kid wouldn't stand a chance, but let's give him credit that the beast side of him gave Sonic a heighten intuition that Alucard has that dark outworldly look in his aura. The vampire is an old creature and had more fighting experience. 3 millions lives and souls that stirred within Alucard's memories to make that fighting experience, that is.

Yet Sonic showed no fear as he gets into his fighting offensive and the vampire likes that. For that reason, he sees no need to pull out his guns or lower his restriction levels any further and kept it at level 5, which only allows his superhuman strength, agility, and reflexes to flow through.

"And you're Sonic." He said. "By any chance you work for Luna's Call?"

Dark... outworldly... but not really corrupt. Not in the way of the Rift, anyway. Hm.

"Sure do! I come to bring honor to them, and to the Rhya! And to enjoy a couple good battles in the meantime."
