Blutige Hochzeit
Who: The Major, Integra Hellsing, Alphonse Delacroix, Schrodinger, Rip van Winkle, the Doctor, Alucard, Amestrian officials, Church officials, and everybody else
Where: Cathedral in Imperial City
When: Nearing the end of Spring Court
What: Integra and the Major's wedding
Warnings: Hideous unions
Spring Court was a time where many couples came together for their unions. Having a wedding around this time would ensure prosperity and happiness for years to come. But not all couples were fortunate enough to be able to schedule their marriages during this week-long event. The Major's wedding with Integra Hellsing was a political union between the Church and Amestris. It wasn't a surprise that his could bypass much of the necessary bureaucratic channels. The Cathedral had seen decorations move in and out like a storm in these past weeks. And now, it was currently decorated with the colors of the Spring Court in one end as well as the colors of Amestris in another. The wedding was a public affair as personally requested by the Major himself. Anybody may enter the cathedral, talk among one another, and indulge in the comestibles set about on tables. The wedding would soon begin in time.

She felt the dread wash over her just as the shadows darkened the once cheery hall. The sound of a door crashing open signaled the start of what was going to be a beautiful symphony of bloodshed~.
With her gun loaded and ready, she took aim. Her target~ The bride to be.
no subject
Not wasting time, the heiress kneeled down and... reached under her gown, where she'd strapped a certain antique pistol to her thigh. Standing, she immediately aimed right back at Rip, and did not hesitate to fire!
no subject
Her shot rang out moments before Integra's. Bullets raced towards their targets, but who had the better aim~? Or more specifically, who had the better reflexes.

Alucard looked up to see a familiar woman on the balcony...isn't that Kasper that he met on Spring Court? He's mildly surprised that's she from the enemy faction all the long. He frowned, but Integra is more important to him now and the fight continues.
To protect Integra, he ordered Baskerville to go to her now and act as her shield and take in most of the damage from Kasper's bullets. The Hellhound ran fast down the aisle to protect the beloved Master.

Baskerville ran towards her, and he managed to nudge her out of the way -- unfortunately, it wasn't enough to completely take her out of the bullet's course.
Rip's bullet hit her right in the shoulder, and because of this, Integra's aim was off. Rip got lucky, her bullet flew right past her face. That really hurt... of course, it wasn't going to stop her.
Taking a few steps back, Integra had to pause on her pursuit of Rip, instead taking aim and shooting a few of the Amestrian soldiers who came at her, and once they were down, she began firing at Rip again!

The shooting below her drew her attention downward. There she spotted someone familiar. Someone she had met recently! Card? She tensed a little, the grin on her lip falling slightly as her eyes studied him.
So he belonged to the enemy. Rip was the first to glance away and prep her gun once more. It didn't matter, she had a job to do. There was bloodshed to be had and she would carry out the task her Major gave to her with the utmost care! Personal feelings didn't matter at this point, only the hunt.
As for the bullet that struck Integra, it was still going. It drove through her shoulder only to arch around for another hit.

Rip's bullet had done a number on the heiress' shoulder, it would most certainly leave a nasty scar in it's wake. She'd never seen bullets like that before. Dropping her hand from her wounded shoulder, she leered up at the huntress. Baskerville snarled, pacing in circles around Integra, prepared to help her out again if needed.
When it came to this fight, even Integra knew this one may have been a lost cause. Integra's bullets were blessed, but they were not at all like the ones Rip had. They'd do damage, and if she hit Rip in the heart, perhaps even kill her... but they most certainly wouldn't come flying back to do more damage. Taking aim one more time, she narrowed her eyes and fired one more time.

This time, she aimed at the dog. The bullet raced forward, impacting with the hound over and over again, piercing flesh and relentlessly pounding the hound.
As for the shot aimed at her, Rip dodged, just barely missing the blessed bullet as it cut though her hair, separating strands from her long locks.

Still, even Baskerville would eventually reach his limit. Integra took one final glance up at Rip, unable to help herself as she called out to the woman, "Bullets like those take no talent -- how very disappointing, Rip van Winkle!"

Rip stood and leaned over the balcony. One tense moment later, she was leaping into the fray below, swinging her musket like a club to any enemy that came near. Her target was obvious. She was heading for Integra, intending to teach the wretched mortal woman a lesson in talent.

With his obstacles out of the way, he finally reunite with his Master, only to feel extremely furious at the sight that her shoulder was injured. Eyeing her wound, his eyes flashed red with Hell's fury.
"Master. I will deliver the same punishment to whoever did this to you." He said with promise.
He then peered at the Sniper on the balcony with a mad grin. Zamiel is coming for Kasper. Now to figure a way out to get to up to her position...oh is she heading this way? Nevermind, he'll take the matter into his hands personally!
But first...his Master's safety. "Integra, let me take care of this. Take Baskerville with you."

As soon as Rip jumped down from her spot on the balcony, Integra made her move to grab one off of the wall nearest her; naturally this was not the easiest thing to do, considering her fucking shoulder was injured, something she had not planned ahead for, but it didn't matter. Integra was NOT going down without a fight.
When Rip was close enough, Integra's reflexes kicked into play; the sword was ripped from the wall and she thrust it right back at the vampire, easily blocking that musket. "Might I add, your choice in gowns are absolutely hideous as well--"
She had to pause, however, when suddenly Alucard was at her side. Indeed, she was losing a lot of blood. "...Hn. Do what you will," she muttered, straining against the force of Rip.
no subject
Even the sight of the sword in the woman's hand nor the threat of punishment will stop her. Though, one her eyes landed on Alucard she paused and pouted. "In anozher lifetime ve could haf had more zhan just two dates. Ve could haf been monsters to be reckoned with."
Still, that wouldn't stop her attack. Kaspar would show Zamiel what she was made of even if she died to do it. Her gun came up, primed and ready to shoot. Moments later she pulled back on the trigger as a fanged grin graced her lips. Her mark would be true~.

Alucard smirked grimly as he walked toward her. Is she not afraid of his dark power? He would teach and educate the Huntress a lesson she would never forget! A lesson in how true vampires fought in battle! At last, their true nature and identities are revealed. "Maybe." He said. "But not in this lifetime, Kasper."
For a hunter, he was quiet, calm, and deadly. All Rip will see before her is a walking darkness with multiple red eyes fixing on her as the target.
Yes, yes, raised that gun and shoot at him! Shoot at the Monster! The bullets hit their mark on the No Life King. His blood flowed freely on the floor.
What seems like he's down, he only regenerates and heal himself quickly in mere seconds and then stood back up again. His healing regenerate powers is what Rip and the other battalion of the Mellenium is missing because they are not true vampires.
"Again! Shoot me again you freak!" He growled.
no subject
She giggled as her bullet pierced flesh and bursted out the other side. It arched around his hit him multiple times as she loaded and fired the next shot.
Even so, she could see the injuries heal before her very eyes and that worried her. Actually.. it was starting to frighten the huntress!
No, she had to hold strong for her Major! She tightened her hold on her fear and growled as his dark powers were starting to wear on her, cracking her resolve as she fought against it!
Then his words hit her and she tensed. Rip growled as she launched herself forward! She would prove she was just as good as he was! "Do not call me zhat!"
no subject
For now, she merely narrowed her eyes at both of them. "Kill her," was all she had to say, before she turned to make her escape.
no subject
This is going to be a treat to finally kill someone worthy. Even though Rip is a vampire freak.
To the Huntress now. "You are a freak. You're not a true vampire. You cannot summon your familiars or shapeshift into a mist." His tone and taunting is both mocking and cruel. "Kasper." He said, both amused and predatory as he approached her. Kasper the Huntress and singer...he put two and two together. He seen and know a lot of plays in his long life. "Kasper the Huntress. Isn't that an opera?"
no subject
"I may not be vat you are Card but I can be just az deadly."
She glared up at him as she came to a stop before him. "Der Freischütz. It iz my favorite. Und you haf taken zhe role of Zamiel in our own personal play it zeems~."
Her hands clenched around her gun. Fear and bloodlust warring withing her.. and something else. Sorrow? That was something new to her. Still, this was war! The curtain was rising on their beautiful symphony and it was only fitting it start out with wonderful intensity~.
"Vell Card~? Vill you kill me because zome mortal zaid zo~?"
