Who: Alucard and Integra
Where: Imperial City; Hellsing manor
What: Summoning the idiot back to his rightful place.
When: Now.
Warnings: Violence, perhaps some bloodshed and gore on Alucard's behalf.
Down in the basement of the Hellsing manor, Integra lurked and fumed. She'd originally gone down there to bring the vampire a blood packet, a small truce to say the least to their argument. She'd still been angry, but she'd calmed significantly.
So to find the basement empty, despite her orders for him to NOT leave without her at his side, had Integra flying into an immediate rage again. Without even hesitating, she'd stormed into the sublevel library; the restricted library to everyone but herself. There, she'd retrieved a few books, and her grandfather's personal journals and notes. Along the way, she'd gone upstairs and grabbed a few red and black candles, and a knife of pure silver.
Which brought her back down here. If the Nosferatu would not listen to her, then she would bring him back forcibly, and MAKE him listen. He'd be sorry he ever messed with her.
The basement, while still cool and almost damp feeling, was well lit with the candles she'd brought down; evenly matched red and black candles everywhere, with two side by side atop Alucard's coffin, her trigger object of sorts. It would apparently also double as an alter tonight. The blade of pure silver had already been put to use, the large wound in her hand was still oozing blood but that didn't matter to her now. On the floor around his coffin, she'd drawn, to the best of her abilities, the very same symbols that bound the vampire to her bloodline; words and all.
Papers were scattered everywhere; to anyone else it would look like a complete mess, but to Integra it was organized enough. She knew which papers went where, and the most important ones were right in front of her. It all seemed overly elaborate, but a summoning spell was still a summoning spell. In her own mind, this went against her very religion... but somehow, she knew God would forgive her for this one little sin.
Bringing her most prized book, her grandfather's beloved journal, close enough to read, the young Hellsing heiress spoke loud and clear, eyes never once leaving the little black, leather bound book in her hands.
"Let thy body rest under my dominion, let my fate rest in thy blade.
If thou submitteth to the call of your Master, and if thou wilt obey this mind, this reason, then thou shalt respond.
I am that person who summons the demon, the devil himself!
I am that person who is covered with the evil of all Hades and whose blood binds the Nosferatu.
Servant; Count Dracula, Vlad Tepes III, heed your Master's words and listen to her well. RETURN TO MY SIDE AT ONCE!"
With those words, the symbols on the floor began to faintly glow, the tiny flames on the tips of the candles dancing as a supernatural breeze began to blow throughout the room, eventually becoming so strong that the embers flickered out.
Integra had expected this to hurt, and hurt it had; it was enough to bring her to her knees. It didn't matter, though; nothing mattered right now but making the vampire understand his true place.

"Return to me, Nosferatu!"

Alucard was out in Spring Court when she finished the summoning ritual. By now, he already did everything on his agenda that needs to be done. He thought Integra is sleeping and he would return back to the Manor before her usual hour where she would wake up in the morning. Common sense told him he should return to the manor immediately after he finished with his date, but he got sidetracked and decided to spend outside some more…because he was too irritable and moody to return back to the Manor immediately.
A foolish mistake. He received the Call. And it was no ordinary Call. It was a call of the summoning. She couldn’t…! How could she? But she did! This is the same spell her Grandfather used to instill the magic of “absolute obedience” during the previous Holy Grail war. The summoning spell was originally used to summon spirits as servants to serve for the Holy Grail War. Integra’s grandfather took bits and pieces of it along with his knowledge of alchemy to create his own system to enslaven the vampire into servitude.
He wasn't in the mood to return back to the Manor, but he must return. Where he currently was now, he turned into a wisp of mist and the space he stood in was instantly empty.
Back in the manor, the entire room where Integra and her tools for the ritual currently are, the room shook violently. A burst of red light appeared from the sigil and Alucard rose from the floor. Dark, wispy darkness of his shadows and multiple red eyes covered the room in darkness so thick, it can block out the sun.
Standing to his full height, he can feel the magical seals burning white-hot between the both of their being. She is in pain and so is he. The spell enforces his spirit as Servant to be completely obedient to his Master.
He kneeled on his knees, fists and knuckles on the floor as he bowed his head down. He growled, snarling to show his displeasure.
“Yes, my Master?”

Scowling, she forced herself to stand up, although she was still slightly hunched. She leered down at the vampire, visibly trembling with rage. How dare he look at her like that? How dare he leave her and disobey her orders?!
"I TOLD YOU TO STAY IN THE MANOR!" Integra roared at him, eyes narrowing dangerously behind the lenses of her glasses. "How DARE you disobey my orders, Servant!"
Slowly, she began to walk in a circle around him, as though SHE were the predator and he was the prey. In her eyes, right now, that is exactly how she felt, too. "You're on route to being a traitor, the way you listen to me! I should lock you up in this basement where I found you, and leave you to rot!"

Honestly, a part of him wants the Helsing Brat to squirm like a worm sometimes. His red eyes dimmer, but never left his beloved Master.
"You took a lot of energy to control me...that's not...necessary. You could have die..." He spoke carefully.
Taking a deep breath. "I had things to do in Spring Court."

Scowling, she tightened her grip on his tie and leaned in so close that their foreheads were nearly touching. She had never been this angry at him before... but he had never tested or pushed her like this before, either. She was done.
"I don't care what you had to do! You are MY Servant, and you will listen to ME! You try my patience, Alucard, and I can assure you they are WEARING THIN!" Finally, she shoved him away from her.
Clenching her fists, Integra fought the urge to grab her gun and riddle the damned vampire with bullets. "I have been too kind to you, indeed, for the last past ten years, vampire. That is no longer to be, you've taken advantage of the situation. I will no longer view you as a friend, but merely an object, since that is what you seem to desire."
no subject
There were times he wanted her to view him as a mere object. Why? Because he doesn't want to get too emotionally attached to her. It hurts. Human lives just flicker in a blink of a eye and the pain last instead after the human is gone.
Once she let the grip go, how much he wanted her to touch him in a different way instead. One of gentleness and not of anger. But it was his fault.
"Is that what you desire?" He challenged her. "I left the house because I needed to say my good-byes. I..."
Then his voice softens.
"I'm sorry. I'm acting out of my own character. I am weak."
no subject
"What I desire is for you to stop viewing me as a small girl, and as your Master!" she snapped back at him, finally turning around. She didn't care if she hurt his feelings at this point, hers had already been hurt and she felt betrayed that he would ignore her direct orders.
His goodbyes? She scowled at him, eyes narrowing even more if that was even possible. "Who could you possibly be saying good-bye to? Even more so, I told you NOT to leave unless I was with you! Why do you not listen to me? TELL ME!"

Though the girl in question is both a German and a vampire. He actually if she's part of the Major's group? Nah...couldn't be. Still...
And then...a thought quickly hits him. He didn't explained why he hurted that cat boy to her, right?

Changing the subject, wanting this torture to end quickly. It hurts him to see her in pain and suffering blood loss. "...you know, I hit that cat boy because he said you're fraternizing with the enemy, his boss."

Seething, the heiress listened in to what he had to say. "You let your temper get the best of you. Don't be so foolish next time! I'm not a child anymore, I am a woman who can handle her own fights. Let them say what they want!"
no subject
"I know." Ah, that's it. That's more like it. This is her reinstating her position and role. It can't get any more clearer or direct than that.
"I'm sorry."
no subject
"I don't need you to fight all of my battles," she stated angrily, eyes narrowed dangerously at the vampire. "You have taken far too many liberties, vampire. I'm through with this behavior of disrespect, do you understand me?"
no subject
He wished he could have done things differently with her back in the hospital after her defeat at the tournament, but he has to act needy and desperate. He repressed his desire in wanting her approval..
"Yes, yes, I do." Now all she has to do is state her intent to make him obey her commands with absolute obedience or the spell couldn't be complete.
no subject
She hadn't wanted things to come down to this, and perhaps that expression briefly flashed across her features. "I order you to never disobey an order again, Servant. I will never trust you to the same level I did again. That mistake was mine, and mine alone."
no subject
Yep, that's how the spell works. No matter where he goes, she will know. She will know his presence and the spell only strengthens it to a brand new dimension to enforce obedience. She will hunt him down...almost the same way her grandfather hunts him down. Is she not a vampire hunter and ghoul slayer as she was taught and bred to do for her career?
"Yes, My Master." He wanted to say, will you release me now? But he must wait until she's ready to release him. He wanted to move again.
no subject
"You may move, Servant."

He then walked toward to her, to see if she welcomes him back in her personal space once more.

He then goes to his coffin and sat. A prisoner once again, he thought grimly.
He berated himself as to why he has to act so stupid right now. But then again, he remember's an uncontrollable monster acting on his selfish desires.

"...I should demand an answer to your behavior, but I won't, simply because I don't care anymore."

Bowing to his mistress. "Every part of my body, mind, and powers will obey only you until death do us part."

"...Check the drawer next to my throne." He said quietly. "I bought you a gift and I meant to give it to you when the time is right, but I wasn't sure of how I felt about you as a your servant. I bought it a long time ago." Actually, he bought it last week, but let her think he's been hiding it for quite a while.
no subject
Glancing at his throne, she finally moved towards it. "You don't have to worry, though, you know. Unlike you, I will die, and then you can be happily passed onto my kin. Perhaps you will like them better." she continued, rummaging through the drawer he told her to, until she found a small box. "Is this it?"
no subject
"I'm your prisoner." He stated simply. "Yes, it's for you." He's not going to stop her. If she doesn't want it, she can simply throw it away.
no subject
"...You shouldn't have bought anything for me. What is the occasion?"
no subject
"Initially I want to make a promise to you that I'll never betray you." He said. "You know, in times of war, it's natural that people separate. Some go to battlefront while the other stayed at home. Sometimes, they never see each other again."
Integra isn't stupid of course. Usually, tradition has it is that when a man buys such a ring for a woman, it simply means his feelings are...
If Integra is smart and put two and two together, it really explains Alucard odd and abnormal behavior.
Or would she be oblivious or pretend to be oblivious?
"To tell the truth, I don't want to be treated like an object, but I'm a vampire and you're a human."
no subject
Taking the ring out, she nonchalantly tugged her right glove off and slipped it onto her ring finger. A perfect fit. For now, she'd pretend to be oblivious; eventually, it wouldn't be that easy... but surely even he would understand that, for right now, it was better this way.
"...Thank you. It's lovely." Glancing back at him, she sighed. "I don't want to treat you like an object, either... I just want you to respect me."
no subject
He noticed that. She accepted it? Yes, yes she did! And then when she said that, his guilt and burden was relieved, and put the weight off his shoulders. He was worried because he knew a part of him was...insane and disturbing and there will be times where Integra would have trouble controlling his lust for power and control.
A part of him was hoping she would forgive him for his offenses. No matter how deep and beyond the redemption of God's graces.
"Forgive me." He said slowly as he eyes her evenly. Hating himself for admitting his weakness. "I will try harder."
no subject
"...Forgiven. Please, don't do it again, though."
no subject
But right now she's in a forgiving mood. Finally. He think it's best to just shut his whining mouth..and then later sort out his priorities, his loyalty, his feelings, and himself for the rest of the night.
"Yes, Master."
He merely waited to see if there is anything else.

"It won't be here anymore once we leave and return to Britain...but yes."

"You're welcome." A pause. "I won't leave this basement or beyond the garden." Closing his eyes wanting to go to sleep.
"Tomorrow is going to be another night..." Before she leaves, he suddenly blurts out.
"Integra, let's start over. I want us to be like..." He searches the words. "I like us better when you do treat me like your Knight when you're a girl."
no subject
The heiress lifted a brow, but then looked back up the stairs. "...Perhaps, when I feel I can trust you again."
no subject
Once the door is closed, all is quiet and dark in the basement, allowing the vampire to sulk and brood. Surely he'll find an opportunity to prove his loyalty and obedience to her once more, once again. To climb back to the top and earn her trust and prove himself that he's worthy not as a monster or vampire, but as a man of his word.
Until then, the vampire just slumped in his chair, welcoming sleep and think over his actions to redeem himself...even if the chance is slight, he'll take the risk and rise above his self-loathing as a monster.
