The ships are sailing to new lands.
Who: Mitchell and anyone who wants to join him
What: Setting off to new lands
When: The epilogue
Where: Port of Caemos
Notes: This seemed like a good, final, farewell post.

The die was cast, and Mitchell and his men were ready to head off into new lands, and new adventures. He had readily casted all of his tarot cards on this one adventure, in hopes of good fortunes and a safe voyage. Of course he had still sent a letter off towards any family and friends as a form of precaution in case he doesn't survive. "Alright, is everyone set? If not then this would be the last chance that you would get to finish up any last minute, businesses that you have." He called out, eyes sweeping over his crew.

Eventually cheers and calls that they were more than ready began to arise from the group, causing him to smile somewhat "Then lets set sail to new lands and riches!" If possible the cheers grew louder as the sailors set to work. While Mitchell himself settled himself up in steerage.

One encore, for our devoted fans.
Who: Zeon, Millennium, and anyone who wants to join in the fight whether you are a current member of this game or not. Mod override.
What: AIRSHIP FIGHT
When: In a space between canon and not-canon, between prologue and epilogue...also August 29
Where: The skies above Amestris
Notes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BJdHQtolR8

Millennium's response was exactly as Char had hoped - the Major himself charging toward the Rewloola and his airship fleet. The bastard probably thought it was going to be some glorious twilight of the gods. Char was just relishing the thought of wiping out that cancerous organization with one fell swoop.

And okay, it did seem like something that would sound pretty cool when the story was told later.

"Men!" Char shouts simply as the his flagship and its escort turn to meet the approaching airships. "No speeches. Just send every one of them to Hell. For Zeon, and the Empire!"

With that, the first shots were fired, hurtling across the air toward the Deus Ex Machina trailing smoke and the righteous fury of a Prince.

It begins: Initial battle with the Black Legion Log
Who: The Black Legion, any PC who wants to participate
What: The first assault of the Black Legion
When: 5 August, late morning, throughout the day
Where: All over dagaria

Across Dagaria, as Summer court ends, the morning light does not come. Only darkness, seemingly seeping out of the Rift, can be seen, and hundreds of warriors in battle plate with strange, mad symbols cut into them storm out of it, slaying, burning, and taking slaves. They have come for Zeon, for Amestris, for all the countries of Dagaria. Cities, towns, cathedrals, castles, any structure that stands is being struck at by raving cultists, or the grim, cold precision of corrupt Astartes. They are the Fallen, the traitors, pouring forth from the mouth of hell to howl this phrase with one voice, as their bolters roar, and chainswords grind, "DEATH TO LIFE! DEATH TO THE FALSE EMPEROR."

Dagaria, the Black Legion has come for you, respond as you will.

(Ooc This is all initial attacks, and if you want to individually thread or group thread thats just fine, just let me know in your initial tag so I know how many people I'll be tagging. Feel free to group up or solo fight, but be aware these foes are DEADLY. Mind, this is the initial attack, they haven't engulfed the land. You can fight or escape as you will, and the warbands are fairly small and can be engaged by equal or superior numbers of local troops in any place you choose to fight. Please indicate in your tags to this entry as well WHERE you are fighting, as that will dictate what kind of foes come after you.)

The dictator and the Senator
Darkness falls over Imperial City, as the dictator of Rome quietly looks out over the plateau, crystal sparking in the night. He stands at the railing of his guest quarters, holding a blank scroll in his hands, pacing back and forth. Troubled and disquieted, his once phlegmatic soul has been twisted by uncertainty, darkness and conflict as it has been since his summoning by Nero, not so long ago. He half crumples the roll, then unfurls it, continuing to pace, like a trapped animal.

Grant Us the Breath of Life
Who: The Plague team, all characters
What: The end of the plague
When: The week prior to Summer Court
Where: All Dagaria

The team of scholars, magicians, and healers sets forth from Rome a month and a week after the plague first reared its head in southern Dagaria.  The death count is high.  In the provinces that were first afflicted, conservative estimates place the toll at 10 to 15% of the populace.  Left untreated, it had been predicted that the total population of Dagaria would eventually be fully reduced by half.  Conducting his research walled up behind the doors of the university hasn't prepared Klarth for what he is to witness first hand in the slightest.  Filthy colonies of the infected, entire villages quarantined and barred off as the people within were left to their own devices, suffering and despair on a level unlike anything he had imagined.

The cure isn't perfect.  Those on their deathbeds cannot be saved, their bodies too ravaged by the disease to continue functioning.  The more severely ill require further treatment, while even some of the milder cases continue to remain contagious, passing on a respiratory illness that, though non-fatal, would be much better off avoided, nonetheless.

As they pass through the countries of Dagaria, Klarth takes the opportunity to familiarize himself with this new world he now calls his home.  He wonders, perhaps, if this is the reason he has been called forward in time...

((Anyone is welcome to speak to the team in any country!  It consists of PCs Klarth, Celena, Korra, and Georik and some NPC guards sent by Garviel. Team members, you're welcome to start threads to discuss amongst ourselves, too, of course.  If antagonists would like to confront them for any reason, feel free as well.))

The Awen Moot
Who: Taryn Shadow-Walker, any members of Awen and visiting fellows
What: The Moot aka Awen Court
When: Backdated to the night of June 27th because I suck (half moon)
Where: Alilany
Warnings: there will be some combat and bloodshed

Notes: Here is a reference for how Moots are done in the Werewolf: the Apocalypse canon that Taryn is based off of. There are some differences, like being held on the half moon instead of full moon and the structure is a lot looser. Anyone that ICly looked into what a 'moot' is will find some very old tales mentioning wolf 'beastmen' and how they would gather every month to reaffirm themselves. And that's about it.

The Moot is an old Garou tradition the Ar-Righ was bringing back into practice. )

A Plague on Both Your Houses
Who: Klarth F. Lester, Celena Vantari, Korra, Georik Zaberisk, potentially Garviel, anyone else from Rome
What: Let's cure us a plague
Where: Rome, the University
Warnings: None

The clock is ticking.  Even with Georik's suggestions, more and more fall to the plague daily.  A group of great potential has been gathered in Rome, courtesy of one dictator with the penchant of kidnapping anyone who so much as mentioned the word 'plague' over the crystal network.  Having worked steadily for the last several weeks, they may be close to a breakthrough...

((You may post!  No posting order needed!  Just respond whenever you want.

You are also welcome to start your own threads for one-on-one RP about anything else related to the plague - experiments your character might have done prior to the main discussion that you'd like to thread, fieldwork with patients, or just relaxing and talking with other researchers, etc.  Whatever you feel like posting, go for it!

At this point, I believe it is safe to say that the plague will be cured through a combination of Klarth's incantation of earth mana in combination with Korra's waterbending, Celena's amplification device/reading of the incantation itself, and Georik/anyone else's follow-up treatment.  We have permission from the mods to carry this out, although we will need to go from kingdom to kingdom to cast the spell.))

The holy Grail war, final chapter: The end of all things
Who: The remaining combatants in the Holy Grail war, various and sundry others sucked into the vortex of war and blood
When: Friday Evening
Where: The Desert of Yaburah
What: The final battles of the war play out, lives are lost, and... a victory of sorts is won
Warnings: Bill posted a log. You know there will be blood, overblown speeches, and in general it will be rated M for manly.

Night falls over Yaburah, the city's lights barely visible in the distance. The wind is hot, and carries the grit of sand within it, though nothing moves. Even the animals that might frequent the desert at night have scattered, for they can feel the storm that comes. Blood will be spilled here, and the fate of many servants, men, women, perhaps the destiny of the leaders of some of the Kingdoms of Dagaria will play out here. Hatred, vengeance, rage, and despair will all come to fruition. But perhaps love and innocence will win out, for they have motivated the alliance of the Servants. A young girl is the key, and it is a battle for her that will be fought, before the curtain falls on this last act of the Holy Grail war

All Aboard the Fairy Queen
Who: The Major, Rip van Winkle, Desil Galette, Batman, Midna, Irisviel von Einzbern, Arturia Pendragon, Lelouch Lamprouge, Kallen Kozuki, other passengers bound from Britain to Amestris
When: Two days after the Camelot Treasury heist
Where: The Fairy Queen luxury liner
What: The Major and his men, now with one of the Fused Shadow pieces in their possession, are making their way back to Amestris. It's up to the heroes to stop him and Millennium.
Warnings: Gambling, fighting, and a singing Nazi Major

The Fairy Queen is Britain's finest luxury liner constructed and priced for affluent members of society. Waypoints can be used for near instantaneous travel, granted, but these days, trains and the like were either used for shipping large products, relaxation, or smuggling. About 8 AM early in the morning, nobles, magistrates, merchants, and anybody else of sufficient monetary influence gathered in the terminal. They were boarding one by one after having their tickets examined. They left their luggage outside to be stowed away. The largest happened to be a box with the swastika insignia stamped on its front next to smaller suitcases, also with swastika stamps. They were few of the first ones to be taken into the train, unfortunately.

The trip from Britain to Amestris will take nearly one day. Until then, the passengers expect to relax as well as they can on the smooth passage and comforts the Fairy Queen would provide.
