Perhaps this is payback for the time when she was thirteen, when she decided to try and get under his skin by asking him where babies came from. Naturally she'd already known, but she wanted to get a reaction from the vampire. She hadn't gotten much of one and it'd been disappointing, but still... perhaps this was why he felt the need to harrass her a good majority of the time.

Or perhaps it was because he was boerd. Either or, she merely shrugged at him and turned, walking into the house, not at all surprised that he was following after her. She stuffed her hands into her pockets, moving almost silently through the dark corridors.
