On the night of the full moon...
Who: Taryn Shadow-Walker and Arthur Pendragon
What: "Border Dispute"
When: 6/5
Where: Northernmost border of Lerrian and Cerirwen
Warnings: none
Taryn waited at the border and leaned against the boulder that just happened to be resting on the border between Britain and the land of Luna's Call. It was possibly the most absurd reason to need leaders to handle directly, but it was the excuse Taryn and Arthur needed.
Tail waving lazily behind her, Taryn's ears perked up as she caught a familiar scent on the wind. Arthur would be there soon.

sounds like a plan~
"If you're up for the challenge, I'd like that. One more honest run before I become Ar-Righ."

"I'll make sure to take you on further runs in the future. If you would like that."

"I do... as long as you find some other way to phrase it. That makes it sound like you're taking your dog out for exercise." Just about anyone else, she would've bristled over that, especially on the full moon, but Arthur was different.
"...shall we?"
And then, before Arthur's eyes, Taryn's form shifted and she shrank from the seven foot tall wolf-woman to a regular looking grey wolf with a bit of silver in her fur.

"You cannot say that...and then change like that, Taryn. But is alright. I will make sure that once you are ruler we will enjoy more of this honest runs against each other. Now."
Arthur went to stand next to her. God, he really wanted to at least pet her. Arthur liked woman like any other men, but he could appreciate the beauty of an animal, and he knew Taryn was not an animal, but as far as canines went, he could tell the shape Taryn had adopted was beautiful, strong, and most certainly fast.
"On the count of three.
..
.....
Three."

But that was something for discussion another time for Arthur was being a bit crafty and got a bit of a jump on Taryn. She took off after him with a playful bark, bounding between trees.

And where was Taryn? That little wolf was surely gaining terrain advantage or something.
Not that they were really competing. Laughing, Arthur sprinted around the trees, looking for her.

Leaping over a downed tree, Taryn drew abreast Arthur before pinning her ears back and putting on a burst of speed, bounding up the embankment.

"Wait up!", called Arthur as he accelerated, barely managing to get behind the wolf before finally tripping and rolling a good few meters over the grass.

"Really nice fur."

She... she really needed to tell him.
Back off him, Taryn shifted back to her wolf-woman form. "I have something to tell you, Arthur. It's... I'm trusting you with the knowledge... But, I'm not a beastman. Not like I present myself as. I'm Garou. A werewolf."
