The demons, being mostly creatures of spirit, could percieve Archer and Berserker as they truly were: Being constructed solely of magical energy, much like themselves, and enormously powerful.

They beelined towards the two of them, roaring a challenge and batting aside or crushing underfoot any ordinary human that got in their way.
